We have always bragged that "Juleløbet Skamling" - The Christmas Race at Skamling is our playground and always in beta.
This has resulted a Barkley Marathon inspirede ultrarace, new routes a couple of years back, Christmas Market and even our own spa-area a couple of years ago.
This year we are fortunate enough to be able to access new playground "on our side of Skamlingsbanken", this means a change in the route betweekn the School and Skamlingsbanken - this is something to look forward to!

Last year we started upgrading our Childrens/Family race and throughout the fall will will strive to make it even cooler. This year Kolding Orienteringsklub will set up a small track inside the Christmas Hall where kids of all ages can compete and have fun.

Like the last 10 years we welcome a wide range of local businesses at our Christmas Market, they will provide inspiration for Christmas shopping and Danish "hygge".

After a couple of years break AND og countless prompts, our "Ugly X-Mas Running Shirt" will return as an extra possibility. Once again it's SIGN SPORT, wellknown from the world of orienteering will this quality long sleeve shirt.
It will only be possible to buy this shirt until October 20th on this page - as a new thing this year, you will also be able to buy the shirt even if you're not participating in the race.
But don't wait too long - October 20th. is last chance!!!

Julemanden (½ Marathon, 1 round on and around Skamlingsbanken)
Rudolf (10k, 1 round on and around Skamlingsbanken)
Kaneturen (5k, (WALK + run) 1 round on and around Skamlingsbanken)
Nissepus (3-4k, 1 round close to the school)


Like always we start and finish in Skamlingshallen at Design & Idrætsefterskolen Skamling.

After the race the Elfs will be treathing you with "glögg and æbleskiver", at the routes the Elfs will offer the runners warm blackcurrant juice and pepper nuts.

We are very much looking forward to seeing you all at Design & Idrætsefterskolen Skamling for the Christmas run ball of the year.
