ÖTILLÖ, THE SWIMRUN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2024

ÖTILLÖ is the jewel in the crown. It is the mother of all swimruns and the origin of the sport. ÖTILLÖ is considered to be one of the most prestigious endurance races in the world.
ÖTILLÖ is the original swimrun race, it is the Swimrun World Championship. 

To finish the ÖTILLÖ course from dawn to dusk, you must be very fit and very fast in and out of the water as there are 46 transitions. You will swim between the 24 islands and run over them. The total distance is 75 kilometres of which 10 km are open-water swimming and 65 km are trail-running.

The start at Sandhamn is mythical and the finish at Utö Värdshus on Utö is like coming to Nirvana.

Entry pre-requisite

• To be able to participate in ÖTILLÖ you have to race in a team consisting of two persons that are at least 18 years old and able to swim.
• Each team member needs to have a valid insurance for swimrun or sports similar to swimrun.
• Your application is final and will not be reimbursed. Use your insurance if you have a medical issue.
• You are allowed to change one team member of the same gender, but this can only be done after the 8th of July.
• No external sales of your entry is allowed.
• By entering the race each team member accepts the rules in full. Make sure you read and understand them. Please read the ÖTILLÖ standard Swimrun rules here.

Entry fee

• Entry fee: EUR 2000/team

• Pre-race hotel double room (1 per team) with breakfast and dinner in Djurönäset from Sunday to Monday
